Abstract

Pedophilia is a sexual activity perpetrated by adults against minors, the current pedophile is experiencing an increase in sexual violence against children, which also leads to the death of its victims. Not to mention the other pedophile behaviors revealed to the court's green table, which makes parents worried that the danger of pedophilia is so easy to threaten the lives of every child. Legal sanctions against pedophile crimes against children as victims are less strictly regulated in the Criminal Code, but the existence of Law No. 35 of 2014 on Child Protection, provide fresh air for the people of Indonesia. Because, in this Act, heavier and more strict sanctions imposed on the perpetrators of sexual crimes in this Act, may provide assurance that the perpetrators will not be punished too lightly. Efforts to protect children need to be continuously strived to maintain the welfare of children, considering the child is one of the valuable assets for the future of a nation in the future.
