Abstract
Total Knee Replacement or total knee joint replacement is one of the treatment methods used to relieve pain and improve functional activity in patients with end-stage knee osteoarthritis. The method used is the provision of infra red and exercise therapy are evaluated using VDS for pain, Goneometer for LGS, and MMT for muscle strength. To determine the benefits of Transcutaneus Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) and Exercise Therapy in post-operative cases Total Knee Replacement right. After 6th therapy, the result of pain reduction, with VRS from FT0 to FT6 can be seen, the silent pain from FT0 to FT6 is same 0, whereas the tenderness from FT0 1 to FT6 becomes 0, motion pain from FT0 2 FT6 to 1. LGS with Goneometer increased flexion from FT0 85° to FT6 becomes 120°, extension from FT0 to FT6 is same 0°. For muscle strength measurement using MMT increased in dextra knee flexor, extensor from FT0 to FT6 is same 4. Measurement of edema on dextra knee 2 with anthropometric, decreased FT0 25 cm, 29 cm, 33 cm in FT6 to 24 cm, 27 cm, 31 cm. Transcutaneus Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) and Exercise Therapy modality can reduce pain, decrease edema, increase joint motion (LGS) and strength dextra knee muscles.
