Abstract

This study aims to analyze the economic development gap between districts in East Java Province in 2011-2015 in the era of regional autonomy. The data used are labor force, regional development fund allocation, gini index. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression analysis method from panel data. This research is a quantitative research using panel data from 2011-2015 (38 districts / cities in East Java Province). The type of data used in this study is secondary data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS). The results show that the labor force and allocation of regional development funds have a significant effect on the economic development gap in East Java Province during the period 2011-2015.
