Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the decision of parents in choosing primary school. This research method is qualitative descriptive. The data sources of this research is principals, teachers and parents students by using data collection techniques of interviews, observation and documentation. Analysis of this research data is reducing data, displaying data and drawing conclusions. The validity of the data in this study was tested by triangulation technique ie source triangulation and triangulation technique. The results of research obtained are factors that make the interest of parents of elementary school muhammadiyah 16 Surakarta in choosing elementary school for child is religion, clean and comfortable school environment, many school achievement, complete extracurricular activities
