Abstract
The purpose of this research are: (1) To show that KKG can develop teacher professional competence in SDN 02 Genengan (2) To show how to develop professional competence through KKG in SDN 02 Genengan (3) To show barriers in developing professional competence through KKG in SDN 02 Genengan (4) To demonstrate the solutions used to overcome barriers in developing professional competence through GFCs at SDN 02 Genengan. This research is a qualitative research with phenomenology design. By using data collection methods that include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The validity of data in this study using triangulation method, by checking the form of data collection techniques and data sources with the same method. The results of this study indicate that: (1) KKG proved able to develop the professional competence of teachers, if teachers have difficulty then the difficulty is brought to the KKG forum to be solved together. (2) How to develop professional competence of teachers through KKG can be done by making props in KBM, the use of various learning strategies and learning methods through ICT media that is able to attract the attention of learners. (3) Obstacles in the GFC include the funds, time, facilities, and membership of the teacher itself. (4) Solutions to overcome obstacles in the KKG is to raise awareness about the importance of KKG and the use of funds to a minimum.
