Abstract
Background: Supracondylar fracture of the femur is one of the fractures that occurs in the distal part of the femoral bone. Problems included in the fracture are pain, loss of function, deformity, swelling, bruising, decreased muscle strength and limitation of motion. Research: To know the management of Physiotherapy in reducing pain, increase the range of motion (ROM) and increase muscle strength in the case of Post Fraktur Operation Supracondylar Femur Sinistra in RSO. Prof. Dr. R. Soeharso Surakarta. Results: After physiotherapy three times, the results of the silent pain from T0: 3 to T3: 2, tenderness from T0: 6 to T3: 2, motion pain from T0: 6 to T3: 4, range of motion joints when the knee flexion from T0: 20o to T3: 45o, knee extension from T0: 0 to T3: 5o, muscle strength of hip flexor from T0: 3 to T3: 4, hip extensor, hip abductor, hip adductor, flexor knee and extensor knee from T0: 2 to T3: 4. Conclusion: Physiotherapy modalities in the form of isometric contraction, ROM exercise and ankle pump can reduce pain, increase the range of motion and able to increase muscle strength in Post Operation condition of Supracondylar Femur Sinistra Fracture.
