Abstract

Fracture is a broken bone or discontinuity of bone tissue,usually experienced because of truama from the outside and mostly due to traffic accidents fracture femur is broken bone on in the femur bone, Open reduction internal fixation (ORIF) is types of installation implants as imobolisasi to facilitate the healing broken bones with reference on the operating fracture closed. To know the benefits of the implementation of physiotherapy in reducing pain, to increase the scope of motion of the joint, and to increase muscle strength in case of Post open reduction internal fixation Fracture Femur 1/3 Distal Sinistra with modalities the IR ray and exercise therapy. After therapy for 6 times there is a decrease in the level of pain, pain of press T1 : 4,9 a T6 : 2,1, montion pain T1 : 6,8 a T6 : 4,7, increased scope of motion of the knee joint S : T1 : 0-0-103, a T6 : 0-0-117, increased muscle strength of flexor knee T1 : 3 a T6 : 4-, ekstensor knee T1 : 3+ a T6 : 4. Giving IR ray modalities and exercise therapy, can reduce of tenderness, and motion pain, can increase the scope of knee joint motion, and increase muscle strenght in case post open reduction internal fixation fraktur femur 1/3 distal sinistra
