Abstract

Leaders have a big contribution in influencing the company. The purpose of this research is to know the role of leader in instilling Islamic values in company. This research uses descriptive qualitative approach. The informants research is 3 poeple and 7 people supporting informants. Data collection using observation, interview and documentation. The results show that: 1) in instilling Islamic values, the leader has several roles: as a one-way model, the leader always gives advice and examples on the employees. the role of inspiring a shared vision, the leader gives employees a comprehension of the company's vision. The role challenges the process, the leader conducts work monitoring, builds relationships with outside parties to ensure employees learn and grow. The role of empowering others to take action, the role of leaders in establishing good relationships with employees. The role of encouraging hearts, leaders always provide motivation to employees. 2) Islamic values to pray five times in congregation, giving prayer time for passengers to pray, be generous, recitation of prophet birth, orphans donation, cutting 2.5% salary, prohibited from drugs, drinking, gambling and playing women.
