Abstract

A tourism has a very important role in boost revenue in the economic growth of a region. The world of tourism is currently experiencing a fairly rapid increase. Improvements of tourism sector have positive impact on the social, cultural and economic of society. This can be seen from the changes that occur in the hill sekipan, starting from a simple hill turn into an attractive and luxurious destination place good and positive impact that would directly affect the life of the community in surrounding. In a complete success on the development of tourism as a result of a good marketing communication strategy. For a success or not it can be seen from the strategy used and how to apply it.The aimof this study is to know the planning of integrated marketing communications strategy of hill sekipan to attract the number of visitors. This research inthe form of qualitative descriptive method.The research used interview and observation to collect the data. This result of this research describes that the integrated marketing communications strategies by hills sekipan tourism manager is advertaising, sales promotion, direct marketing, public relations and personal selling as the way to attract the number of visitors. The integrated marketing communications strategy in the hill of the sekipan also focuses on image, natural attraction, community support and technological progress.
