Abstract

Economic disparity or inequality in income distribution is a reality that exists in the midst of this world community both in developed and developing countries. This study aims to analyze the influence of inflation, the index of human development, the number of workforce (work) and local revenues to the level of inequality income distribution between districts / cities in the Province of Central Java in 2010-2015. This study uses secondary data and analysis method used in this research is panel data regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that the influence validity test (t test) of Cross Section and Time Series shows that the variable of human development index and local revenue together have positive and significant influence on α = 1% to income income inequality between districts / cities in the province of Central Java in 2010-2015. While for determinant coefficient test (R2) Cross Section shows the value of adjusted R-square of 0.597160 (59.71%) and 0.205554 (20.55%) for Time Series, meaning that variation of income income inequality variables can be explained by the variables included. While the remaining 40.29% for Cross Section and 79.49% for Time Series are explained by other variables not included in the model.
