Abstract

This study aims to (1) Know and analyze the influence of underage marriage to the high divorce in the Religious Court of Sragen in accordance with Decision Number 1480 / Pdt.G / 2017 / PA.Sr. (2) to find efforts to prevent the underage marriage which resulted in divorce in the Religious Court of Sragen. The research used is descriptive by using empirical approach. Data obtained through research on Religious Courts Sragen and Office of Religious Affairs Sragen. Methods of data collection through document studies and interviews. Technical analysis of this research data is qualitative data analysis. The result of the research shows that the marriage done by the prospective bride who has not met the age requirement of marriage in Article 7 of Law Number 1 Year 1974 namely legal marriage if done by the prospective bridegroom who is 19 years old and prospective bride of 16 years, will causing divorce. This is because the prospective bridegroom has no mental and psychological readiness to foster a household so it is easy to quarrel and end in divorce.
