Abstract

The purpose of this study is to see the difference in marital satisfaction in women who are pregnant out of wedlock and who are not pregnant out of wedlock,The purpose of this study is to see the difference in marital satisfaction in women who are pregnant out of wedlock and who are not pregnant out of swedlock, factors that affect the satisfaction of marriage as well as the cause of pregnancy outside of marriage and who are not pregnant out of wedlock. Samples in this study were 35 samples of women who were pregnant out of wedlock and 35 samples of non-pregnant women out of wedlock, amounting to 70 samples, using Purposive Sampling. This study uses quantitative methods seen from the scale of marital satisfaction. The sampling technique uses simple random sampling. Data analysis in this study using Mann Whitney Test with SPSS 16.0 For Windows program. The results of the scores of marital satisfaction scores on women who were pregnant out of wedlock with an average of 18.00 and for non-pregnant women out of wedlock with a mean score of 53.00. Based on test results Mann Whitney Test known Z = -7, 198; p <0.01. These results show that there is a significant difference in marital satisfaction in women who are pregnant out of wedlock and who are not pregnant out of wedlock.
