Abstract

This study aims to determine the correlation between Subjective Well-Being (SWB) and Organizational Citizenship Behaviour (OCB) on RS “X” Surakarta nurses. The hypothesis proposed in this study has a positive relationship between Well-Being (SWB) and Organizational Citizenship Behaviour (OCB) at on RS “X” Surakarta nurses. Sampling technique in this research using purposive sampling technique with 100 respondents. This research uses quantitative method with Subjective Well-Being (SWB) scale and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) scale. Data in this study were analyzed by SPSS version 19.0 with Spearman analysis technique. The results of the data analysis obtained a correlation of 0.610 and the significance (p) of 0.000 (p <0.01) which means there is a very significant positive relationship between Subjective Well-Being (SWB) and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB). The effective contribution of both variables is 37.2% held by (r2) of 0.372, which means there are still 62.8% other variables that may affect OCB besides SWB. SWB category is high with empirical average (RE) of 65.84 and hypothetic average (RH) of 52.5. The OCB category is also high, can be seen from the empirical average value (RE) of 71.12 and the hypothetical average (RH) of 55 (RE> RH).
