Abstract

This research was conducted in Telanaipura Sub-district, Jambi City. This study entitled "Population Growth Analysis of Distribution Pattern of Social Economic Facility and Infrastructure in Telanaipura Sub-district Jambi City Year 2011 and 2015". This research has objectives: (1) To analyze demographic factors affecting population growth in Telanaipura Sub-district Jambi City in 2011 and 2015. (2) To analyze the influence of population growth on the distribution of social economic facilities and infrastructure in Telanaipura Sub-district, Jambi City in 2011 and 2015. The method used in this study is the analysis of secondary data, the data includes physical and non physical characteristics, ie in the form of time series data with comparison of data in 2011 and 2015. Data analysis used is descriptive statistical analysis using tables and statistical data analysis, data distribution pattern through image interpretation process. To analyze demography factor that influence population growth that is by using formula of CBR (Crude Birth Rate), CDR (Crude Death Rate), Mn (Migration Neto), while to analyze influence of population growth to distribution pattern of social economy and infrastructure by using formula analysis of nearest neighbor. The results of this study indicate that the population growth rate in Telanaipura sub-district in 2011 and 2015 is classified as high category with a growth value of 4.14%, of the three demographic factors which most affect the population growth in Telanaipura Sub-district is the birth factor, it is known from birth factor increased in 2011 has a number of 1.15 million people and in 2015 to be equal to 2.16 million inhabitants. The pattern of distribution of educational facilities has a clustered pattern and others have a random distribution pattern because from one facility to another they tend to have adjacent locations and are affected by accessibility. Distribution patterns of Health facilities mostly have clustered patterns and others have random distribution patterns because they are oriented towards densely populated residential areas and accessibility. The pattern of distribution of economic facilities throughout the village has a clustered pattern oriented to the market or the center of economic activity.
