Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of GRDP per capita, education, wage, and unemployment on poverty the West Java during 2007-2015. Data used in this research is panel data, which contain the following variable GRDP per capita, education, wage and unemployment in 25 districts/cities in West Java during the period 2007-2015. Data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS). The tool or method used in this research is panel data regression analysis using Random Effect Model (REM) method. The result of panel data regression analysis shows that education has significant effect to poverty in West Java during the period 2007-2015, so does with wage. GRDP per capita and unemployment showed no significant effect on poverty.
