Abstract
This study entitled "Analysis of Factors Affecting Merchant's Revenue in Sidodadi Market (Kleco) of Surakarta City". This study aims to analyze and find out how big influence of initial capital, length of business, education, working hours per day and business location to the merchant's income in Sidodadi (Kleco) market of Surakarta. The population of 376 traders. Determination of sample by proportional random sampling method with total sample of 80 traders consist of 5 food traders, 15 bumbon traders, 9 chicken and beef traders, 2 24 vegetable sellers, 4 fruit traders, 2 garment traders, 6 food traders, 1 plumber merchants and 11 other merchants (snack market). In this study using multiple linier regression analysis method ordinary least square model (OLS). The results of the analysis are as follows the results of calculation of normality residual data test with Jarque Bera model is normally distributed, test model specification with Ramsey Reset model shows that the model is linear, the classical assumption test shows that there is no multicollinearity problem, there is no problem of heteroskedastisitas and there is no problems of autocorrelation, t test results can be seen that the variable initial capital and business duration significantly influence while the variables of education, working hours per day and business location have no significant effect, F test results show that the model used exist, R2 get value 44,17% that 44.17% of market trader's income variation can be explained by the variable of start-up capital, length of business, education, working hours per day and business location. The remaining 55.83% is explained by other independent variables included in the model.
