Abstract
Mathematics is a subject that is considered difficult for some students. Students find it difficult because Mathematics has many formulas to memorize and understand. The difficulty makes students lazy to learn Math so that the value of Minimum Passing Criteria is less satisfactory and even difficult to achieve the value of Minimum Criterion Exhaustiveness. Learning media today only use the book. Seeing from the above facts then made the learning media more interactive. Learning media built with WordPress application. WordPress is a very popular open source application used as a blog engine. WordPress is built with PHP programming language and MySQL database. PHP and MySQL, both are open source software. In addition to being a blog, WordPress also began to be used as a CMS or Content Management System because of its ability to be modified and tailored to the needs of its users or can also be referred to as dynamic web that can be updated regularly with ease. Learning media designed with waterfall method. In the system development model of waterfall method, a system development is done based on sequence analysis, design, testing. Called the method of waterfall due to the stages and also the sequence of methods performed is a kind of sequential and sustainable method, like a waterfall. Tests on this app will be done with class actions. Data and testing are obtained from SMP Muhammadiyah Darul Arqom Karanganyar to grade VII students. The results of the study showed 72.31% web can help students easily understand the material and 84.61% web can improve the spirit of student learning.
