Abstract

This study aims to obtain an assessment of the level of satisfaction and interests of the community about waste management operations in the city of Surakarta and understand the attributes that affect the problem of waste management for the purpose, used the method of Importance and Performance Analysis and using descriptive approach. Attributes that are a priority improvement are attributes that fall within the quadrant regions A and D. In general, the results of interest-satisfaction analysis can be concluded attributes that enter in the quadrant region A is X14 (Cleanliness and tidiness of officers in good working) and attributes included in Quadrant D region is X1 (the type and amount of equipment is in accordance with the conditions of waste generation and geographical area) and X3 (maintenance facilities already good support).
