Abstract
This study aims to determine the Influence of Economic Growth, General Allocation Fund (DAU), and Local Original Income (PAD) on Human Development Index with the Capital Expendituret as Intervening Variable. The population used in this study were 33 districts / cities in central Java. With a total of 25 samples in this study using purposive sampling method. Hypothesis testing in this study using multiple linear regression analysis with test coefficient of determination, f test, and t test. The results of this study indicate that the coefficient of determination obtained value of 0.604. This means that 60.4% variation of capital expenditure variable of a region can be explained by the amount of variable of PE, DAU, and PAD. The remaining 39.6% is explained by other factors outside the model under study. The test results simultaneously show that PE does not affect the HDI, DAU and PAD directly affect the HDI. PE influence on the HDI through BM, while BM does not affect the HDI. In the path analysis shows that knowing the influence of DAU and PAD on the HDI is selected direct path without going through BM. whereas PE to HDI is selected indirect path through BM.
