Abstract

Abstrack Bioethanol is an alternative fuel product derived from vegetable glucose extract. One of the ingredients that can be used to get bioethanol is cocoa peel. The essence of bioethanol making is in the process of hydrolysis and fermentation process. The variables used in the manufacture of bioethanol are yeast mass, nutrient addition, and fermentation time. From the experiments, the highest glucose concentration reached 0.4375g with 4% yeast mass and 0.5% increase of nutrient with optimum time of 2 days to 89ml CO2 volume.
