Abstract

The construction of Social Unit and Inpatient Ward Building in RSJ Province Banten is a development for health services to the public. The construction of the RSJ should be well planned and calculated which remains to meet the established standards. One of the planning is about mechanical electrical and plumbing (MEP). Planning mechanical, electrical and plumbing are used for electrical system planning and knowing the daily water demands as well and the need for fire extinguishers. Electrical system planning includes lamp lighting system, air conditioning (AC), elecrtical outlet, water pump capacity, safety capacity and current carrying strength of the cable. Based on the calculation mechanical electrical and plumbing planning obtained load at location 1 is 175,53 A, use safety 3 phase MCCB 225A and use conductor NYY 2×4× 35mm2 cable. At location 2 load is 365.13 A, use 3 phase MCCB safety with 400 A capacity and use conductor NYY 2×4×95mm2 cable. Water demands at location 1 is 591,56m3, with detail of 160m3 for 2 days requirement, fire extinguisher 377,78 m3 with duration 50 minutes, and 10% safety factor. Water demands at location 2 is 1603m3, with detail of 418m3 for 2 days requirement, fire extinguisher 1038,89m3 with duration 50 minutes, and 10% safety factor.
