Abstract
KWh Meter is a tool used to calculate and measure how much electricity consumption. There are two types of kilowatt hour meters or kWh meters that are used ie kWh meter analog and kWh meter digital. The power consumed by consumers is calculated by kWh meter per hour unit and will be automatically recorded by PT.PLN viewer using kWh meter. The purpose of this research is to know the level of accuracy of analog and digital kWh meter by being loaded using 1 phase induction motor load as inductive load power factor < 8 range 0,8-0,1 positif variabel. KWh meter digital and kWh meter analog has a different accuracy. To know the difference of ketelitan conducted a test to prove the difference of accuracy and obtained the results of kWh meter analog 1 as the largest kWh meter average reading error of 32.8% error read more than 50 % as much as 7 times, while kWh meter analog 2 for 27, 9% and kWh digital meters to kWh meters with the best accuracy in this study with an average error rate of 27.5%.
