Abstract

The aims of this research is to find the correlation between the group cohesivity with agressivity, the level of group cohesivity, the level of agressivity, and the effective contribution of group cohesivity to the aggresivity. The participant of this research are 50 members of the PSHT city of Surakarta . The sample collection technique in this research is population sampling. This research used quantitative method and using measuring scale of group cohesivity and scale of aggresivity. The data analyse technique of this research is correlation of Product Moment from Carl Pearson using SPSS 16 for windows program. By the outcome of data analysis, showed the value of correlation coefficient -0,310 with sig. (p) 0,029 (p < 0,05) it means that there is a significant negative relation between group cohesivity and aggresivity to the members of the PSHT city of Surakarta. The mean empirical (ME) of variable group cohesivity is as big as 79,74 is included in high category, while the mean empirical (ME) of discipline is as big as 44,88 is included in low category. The effective contribution of group cohesivity with aggresivity is 9,6% so there is 90,4% that influenced by another factors.
