Abstract
Job performance is one of that to answer of era challenge so that no defeated with others firm. When the job performance is bad, so it to cause to decrease the productivuty. The aim of this research is to know the relation between self-efficacy with job performance, so the authors propose the hypothesis "there is a positive relationship between self-efficacy with job performance." The subject in this study is the student of MMB employees that is an amount of one hundreds employees. Sampling technique that used was purposive non random sampling, where taking methode the sample is based certain feature. Measuring instrument which is used to reveal research variables there are 2 kinds of measuring instrument, namely: (1) the scale of self-efficacy, and (2) the scale of job performance. Data analysis in this study uses the product moment correlation. Based on the results, so is obtained the correlation between self-efficacy with job performance (r) is amount of 0.476 with p = 0.000 where p 0.01 <, this means there is a very significant positive relationship between self-efficacy with job performance. That is, the higher self-efficacy, then the higher the job performance of employee, and conversely the lower self-efficacy, then the lower also job perfromance of employee. The empirical mean of the variable self-efficacy is an amount of 65,85 with the mean hypothetic is an amount of 57,5. So the mean empirical > mean hypothetic that means that generally, the MMB employees has high self-efficacy. Furthermore, the empirical mean of the variable job performance is an amount of 93,81 with mean hypothetic is an amount of 90. So the mean empirical > mean hypothetic which means generally the MMB employees has job performance is medium. The role of self-efficacy towards job performance (SE) is an amount of 22.7%, which mean there is still 77.3% another factor besides the self-efficacy that affects the job performance, namely job motivation, leadership perceived, condition of job environment, and capability and competence.
