Abstract

This study aims to explain the leadership applied by the Leadership of Muhammadiyah Sragen. This study uses a qualitative approach, with descriptive method that explains all data obtained such as observations, interviews, shooting results, document analysis, field notes, which are not poured in form and numbers. In addition through this method is also done data analysis by enriching the information, looking for relationships, compare, find patterns on the basis of the original data (not transformed in the form of numbers). The results of data analysis in the form of exposure on the situation under study presented in the form of narrative descriptions. The nature of data exposure generally answers the questions of why and how a phenomenon occurs. From the results of the discussion can be drawn the conclusion that the type of leadership applied by the leadership of Muhammadiyah Sragen is collective collegial leadership. Important policies and decisions within organizations must be through consultation or system-based collectivity. Collective collegial leadership type of Muhammadiyah Sragen leadership is done so that every decision making is made more carefully and considering various objective aspects. Organizational decisions of Muhammadiyah Sragen lack of subjectivity because no one can dominate
