Abstract

Abstract The context of organizational success is a good relationship between leaders and employees. Where the relationship is influenced by the style of leadership. According to Ghopal & Chowdhury (2014) in his journal revealed that leadership style will affect employee motivation in work. Employees in running their work will not always run smoothly at one time employees will experience a saturation and problems that make morale work down here the role of leadership is decisive in order to provide encouragement so that employees able to return productive. Metode research used is a quantitative method with a survey using questionnaires. Data collection techniques with questionnaires. Population of all employees of the office of Kominfo Surakarta. The research sample used nonprobality sampling type, this technique gives equal opportunity to every member of the population to be sampled. Therefore, the sampling determination using purposive sampling type, where only certain people are selected to be samples. Sample in this research is employees of office of Kominfo Surakarta service. Further processed by using simple regression analysis, t test, F test, Coefficient of Determination. The result of this research shows that leadership style have positive effect on employee work motivation which means that leadership style in leading subordinate able to encourage employees to work better it can be seen from the influence of leadership style on work motivation of office employee of Surakarta Communications Service Office of 65.8%. Can be said the influence of high leadership style in influencing motivation work. Where it means that leadership style is done by the leadership is appropriate because it can encourage employees to work well. Work motivation of a subordinate.
