Abstract
This research aims to analyze the effect of economic growth, unemployment, poverty, inflation, and government spending on HDI district / city in the region SUBOSUKAWONRATEN in 2011-2015. This type of research is a combination of time series (cross-time) and cross section (cross-data). The type of data used is secondary data with panel data type. The sample in this research is 7 districts. Data analysis technique used in this research is panel regression. So from the selection of the most appropriate model chosen in this study is the Random Effect. Model (REM). The REM model has a fairly high probability. Based on the results of F-test, simultaneously variable of economic growth, unemployment, poverty, inflation, and regional expenditure have an effect on to human development index of regency/city in SUBOSUKAWONRATEN in 2011-2015. The result of determinant coefficient test (R2) shows that the magnitude of R-square 0,958903, or equal to 95,89%. This means that variations in the human development index can be explained by the independent variables that exist in statistical models, such as economic growth, unemployment, poverty, inflation and government spending. While the rest of 4.11% is explained by other factors not included in the model. Based on the validity test of influence (t-test) on the significance (α) of 0.05, the variable of economic growth and government expenditure have a significant positive effect on the human development index, poverty and unemployment variables significantly negatively affect the human development index, while the inflation variable has no influence against the human development index.
