Abstract
HIV/AIDS cases is an iceberg phenomenon since the discovery of HIV/AIDS cases have not correspond to the existing estimate of the patient. One effort to improve the discovery of HIV/AIDS cases conducted by Voluntary Counselling Testing activities on high risk populations. This research aims to determine the relationship between knowledge, attitude about HIV/AIDS and VCT also the role of officer with willingness to do VCT among sex worker in Gilingan, Banjarsari, Surakarta. Research design that used is cross sectional study. Population in this research was 40 women sex workers used accidental sampling methods as the sampling technique. Fisher exact test were used as relationship analysis, with significance 0.05. The result of research show that women sex workers which unwilling to do VCT is 12 respondents. The results of bivariate analysis showed that there were relationship between knowledge with willingness to do VCT (p= 0,000), attitude with willingness to do VCT (p= 0,034), and there were relationship between role of officer with willingness to do VCT among women sex workers in Gilingan Banjarsari Surakarta (p= 0,034).
