Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out how big the regional-inequality in Central Java is and some factors that effect to the growth-inequality. This research employs secondary data which are time sense data period 1998-2015 convering gross regional domestic product, capital investment, and unemployment rate. This research uses metode Ordinary Least Square (OLS) and Williamson Index to analyze the data The results of Williamson index shows the regional-inequality in Central Java is in high level. Meanwhile the analysis of Ordinary Least Square (OLS) shows high level unemployment reta which has significant impact to the growth-inequality of Central Java. Thus, it is suggested to the government of Central Java to provide vocational training programs and labor intensive project.
