Abstract
Posyandu is one of the health efforts of community resources, implemented by health cadres who have received education and training. This study aims to analyze the relationship of cadre's role, family support, mother's motivation and work status with the attendance level of children under five in Posyandu work area of Sangkrah Community Health Center. The type of this research is non-experimental research with cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all mothers with children aged 0-59 months who live in the working area of Puskesmas Sangkrah as many as 3236 children under five years old. The sample selection using proportional random sampling counted 272 respondents. Bivariate analysis using Chi-Square. The results showed: 1) The role of cadre in posyandu of work area of Sangkrah Public Health Center mostly included good category 228 respondents (83,8%), most of the toddlers received support from 234 respondents (86,0%), mother motivation partially positive 225 respondents (82 , 7%) and employment status with attendance level of toddlers mostly not working 190 respondents (69,9%). 2) There is a relationship between the role of cadres with the presence of children under five at posyandu (p value = 0,000); 3) There is a relationship between family support and the presence of children under five at posyandu (p value = 0,000); 4) There is a relationship between maternal motivation and attendance rate of children under five in posyandu (p value = 0,000); and 5) There is a relationship between the status of work and the attendance of children under five at posyandu (p value = 0,000) working area of Sangkrah Health Center.
