Abstract

This research aims to analyze how the influence of monetary policy that includes inflation, interest rates, exchange rates, and money supply to economic growth in Indonesia. The type of research used is descriptive research with quantitative approach. Determination of sample based on time series data during the period of 2000-2016 using OLS (Ordinary Least Square) method. This research uses multiple linear regression analysis method. From result of significance test F, indicate that inflation, interest rate, exchange rate, and money supply have significant effect to economic growth. The result of classic assumption test that from multicollinearity test no be found problem, residual normality test showed normal distributed data, linearity test showed linear model, heterokedastisity test no be found problem, and autocorrelation test no be found problem. While the test results of the validity of the influence (t test), indicates that the variables of inflation and interest rates have a significant effect on economic growth. In contrast, exchange rate and money supply variables have no significant effect on economic growth. Keywords: inflation, interest rate, exchange rate, money supply, economic growth.
