Abstract

This thesis discusses about THE SIMILARITY AND DIFFERENCES OF PRAYER PROCEDURES BY MADZHAB SYAFI'IYYAH AND HANABILAH either agreed or disputed with included the causes of the difference, which the prayer itself has a very important position both in the dunya and afterlife , even the case prayer is the first worship will be calculated later on the Doomsday, this thesis is based on literature study method in which the author read some references from syafi'iyah madzhab like al umm by imam As Syafi'i, al'aziz by Imam Ar Rofi'i, al majmu 'by An Nawawi imam, as well as some books of madzhab hanbali like musnad imam Ahmad, Al mughni by imam Ibn Qudama, al'uddah syarhul umdah by imam almaqdisi. This thesis answers problems in the first chapter about : (1) what is the difference between syafi'iyah and hanabilah in the procedure of prayer? (2) what is the reason of the difference between syafi'iyah and hanabilah in the procedure of prayer ?. (3) what is the effect of different scholars’ arguments of valid and invalid of salat?. After studied some reference books of the madzhab, the authors had conclusions; (1) the difference between shafi'iyah and hanabilah in the procedure of prayer is viewed from the side of similarity and difference; most of the differences that occur are khanaf tanawu'i (that differences are still possible to be combined) and that cases are agreed more than the disputed, while madzhab hanabilah sticker with the theorem than shafi'iyah. (2) either the difference point of view in understanding the theorem or the difference of theorem which is used as a legal basis causes their dispute revolves around. So by knowing the difference between syafi'iyah and hanabilah in the procedure of prayer and the reason of the difference between syafi'iyah and hanabilah in the procedure of prayer is very helpful for reduce the fanaticism of the group which of the truth is in the theorem, and the truth is more worthy to follow.(3) there is no effect of different scholars’ arguments of valid and invalid of salat.
