Abstract
The wall is one of the most important non structural parts of a building. Walls are usually installed conventionally by arranging one by one material, such as red brick or brick covered with mortar. The lightweight concrete panel walls are precast concrete walls (precast) which have lighter densities than those of typical concrete types. The composition of lightweight concrete panel walls used include sand, cement, tile fringe as a substitute for gravel, water and wiremesh reinforcement. In this study using several variations of holes including holes 1%, 4%, and 9%.1The purpose of this research is to find a more practical and efficient way of making a wall and how strong the sliding lightweight concrete panel walls that have hole variations. In this planning use fas: 0,50. Total of 12 panels panel sample, the sample is made each 3 samples with variation of hole and 3 sample without using hole, where 1 sample use retrofitting wiremesh and 2 samples without using wiremesh reinforcement. As for the concrete cylinders amounted to 6 pieces of samples. Panel wall size used is 70 cm x 60 cm x 7 cm, while the concrete1cylinder with a diameter of 15 cm and height of 30 cm. The cylindrical concrete sample was tested by weight of type with result of 1,688 gr / cm3 and compressive strength test with result of 6,879 N / mm2. For panel walls, a shear strength test was performed with a strong1shear strength of panel walls with reinforcement of wiremesh ie 928,571 kN / m2, 785,143 kN / m2 (1%), 714,286 kN / m2 (4%), 571,429 kN / m2 (9% ). While the shear strength of panel walls without reinforcement of wiremesh was 857,174 kN / m2 (without holes), 678,571 kN / m2 (1%), 607,143 kN / m2 (4%), 464,286 kN / m2 (9%). In this test the 10% holes panel wall variant sample with reinforced wiremesh reinforcement has a larger shear strength value compared to the other variations.
