Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the influence of package price, network quality, and promotion toward the decision of purchasing of phone card by survey at college student of FEB UMS. The type of research is quantitative research, with population of all FEB UMS students who numbered 4848 students as population, with sample 105. The sampling is using convenience-purposive sampling technique. Techniques of collecting research data through questionnaires with Likert scale. Data analysis methods is multiple linear regression analysis test. The results show that partially the packet price, network quality, and promotion variables significantly influence the purchasing decisions. In determinant coefficient (R²), the result is 0,290. It means that package price (X1), network quality (X2), and promotion (X3) are able to explain the purchase decision variable (Y) 0,290 or 29%, the rest can be explained by other variables that are not available in the model.
