Abstract

One of technology development form in the government is the program of e-filling, which is the implementation of e-Government. E-filling is a way to deliver Annual Announcement Letter or SPT through internet on the website of Direktorat Jendral Pajak. The application of e-filling helps to provide report facility electronically through internet. It enable the society to do SPT from their home or office and it also decrease cost and time. However, the writer finds that the officers of RRI, who are the object of the study have not understood about the use of e-filling. The aims of the study, therefore, is to know how innovation diffusion of e-filling is accepted by the society especially the officers of RRI Surakarta. The study uses qualitative method and descriptive approach. It gets result that e-filling is a part of an innovation due to the possession of some characteristics of relative advantages, compatibility, complication, trialability and observability. Besides, the adopter tends to use interpersonal communication in accepting e-filling innovation.
