Abstract

This study aims to describe the structure of Novel Cinta Suci Zahrana Karya Habiburrahman El Shirazy, the image of women in the novel of Sacred Love Zahrana The work of Habiburrahman El Shirazy viewed from feminist literary criticism, and the relevance of Novel Cinta Suci Zahrana Karya Habiburrahman El Shirazy with Indonesian language learning in SMA. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method Strategy used in this research is stuck case study The object of this research is the image of women in the novel Cinta Suci Zahrana by Habiburrahman El Shirazy. The data in this study are words, phrases, sentences, and discourses in the novel Cinta Suci Zahrana by Habiburrahman El Shirazy related to the image of women. The source of premier data in this study is the text of the novel Cinta Suci Zahrana by Habiburrahman El Shirazy. Secondary data sources include articles and writings obtained from internet browsing, as well as other books deemed relevant to the research. Technique of collecting data in this research is using technique of literature and technique of note. Data validity technique used in this research is triangulation of data. The technique used to analyze the novel of Sacred Love Zahrana in this study using semiotic reading method reading is heuristic and hermeneutic reading. The results of this study are: 1) Elements that build a novel of Love of Zahrana by Habiburrahman El Shirazy, the theme of the novel Cinta Suci Zahrana is polygamy. The plot used in the novel of the Sacred Love of Zahrana is progressive progressive groove. The characters in Zahrana's Sacred Love novel are Dewi Zahrana, Pak Munajat, Ibu Nuriyah, Lina, Pak Sukarman, Mrs. Merlin and Hasan. The timeframe that occurred was the 1990s. The setting of the place in the Zahrana Holy Love novel is generally located in Beijing, China and in Java with places such as musholla, abandara, residential areas, and campuses. While the social setting in this novel takes a social background on the life of Zahrana who came from a devout Javanese family. 2) The image of Woman contained in Habiburrahman El Shirazy's Holy Love Zahrana novel includes a) the image of women in the domestic sector comprising the role of women as well-behaved family members and the role of women as a wife, b) the image of women in the public sector comprising the role of women in religion, the role of women in the field of education, and the role of women in the economic field, including hard-working women and independent women. 3) Implementation of research result of novel Cinta Suci Zahrana by Habiburrahman El Shirazy in Indonesian language learning in SMA, that is in class XI with SK 7. Understanding various saga, Indonesian novel / novel translation, and KD 7.2 Analyzing the intrinsic and extrinsic elements of Indonesian novel / novel translation.
