Abstract

Based in Sokodono, Sragen included into the plastics clay is high, with the value of LI = 91.5%, PL = 27.04%, PI = 64.46%. Viewed from the value of PI = 64.46% (leih of 17%) then the soil needs to be made soil improvement with soil stabilization chemically using gypsum stabilization materials, NaCI, charcoal powder and waste concrete with a percentage of 5% improve soil physical properties and soil bearing capacity for the better. Secondary data taken include moisture content, specific gravity, atterberg boundaries, filter analysis, and mechanical tests including Standard Proctor and CBR. Test data of physical properties of soil and mixed soil in this study compared the values of water content, liquid limit, shrinkage limit, pass filter No. 200 decreased, while specificity gravity value, and plastic limit increased. The soil classification with a percentage of 5% according to AASHTO belongs to group A-7-6, whereas according to USCS belongs to CH group. Result of data comparing the mechanical properties of Standard Proctor test of soil mixture of gypsum, NaCI, charcoal powder and waste of concrete by 5%. The value of γd max of 1.4% is found in the addition of concrete waste with unsoaked CBR value of 26.3%.
