Abstract
Transformers Own use in the substation of 150 KV Jajar serves to meet the needs of Power auxiliary equipment, it is generally necessary to supply AC and DC power to the equipment at the Substation which is part of a centralized power system containing a transmission and distribution lines, connecting equipment for transformers, and safety equipment and control equipment. Substation serves to regulate the flow of electrical power from one transmission line to another transmission line, distributing it to the consumer, as a place to lower the transmission voltage into the distribution voltage, and as a place of control and safety of system operation. Method used in research is by method literature study, observation and interview. The capacity used by the transformer itself is determined by considering the diversity factor, ie the ratio between the maximum demand (demand) of each system part and the maximum requirement of the entire system. In the Self Use Trafo System, in its function also requires a series of Own Use and Supply Self Use Transformer as a source of additional power supply power in the substation of 150 KV Jajar. Additional power supply in the Substation of both AC and DC sources requires installation equipment in the form of Low Voltage Switch Gear Equipment, Standards of Operation and Own Own Transformer required to supply AC and DC source. Operation of the Transformer Self-use at the Main Stations is generally supplied from the Distribution Trainer 150/20 kV or 70/20 kV. Self Installation Transformer should be considered in the Installation Location, Operation Limitations, Voltage Adjustment System, Load Adjustment System and Cooling System used.
