Abstract

Lake located at Campus II Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta is always experiencing drought during the dry season. Because of the hydrological processes in the lake such as evaporation, water entering the soil (infiltration). In addition, the drought is caused by the lack of adequate water supply that enters the lake. This lake only get water supply from rain alone, because at this lake there is no flow of water into the lake. The calculation of water supplay to Campus II UMS lake become a parameter to know how much weter needed to make Campus Lake UMS remains full of water at all times. This study uses a number of primary and secondary data. Primary data obtained from direct observation in the field to determine the characteristics of the lake. Secondary data were obtained from studies related institutions such as rainfall data, evaporation data, topographic data and lake area data of Campus II UMS. Counting parameters based on existing data, it can be concluded for the water supply needs to Campus Lake II University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta as follows. By simulating the rationale of debit required by Campus II Lake Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta in 1975 was 85,244 m3 and it happened in 2003 and 5493,31 m3 and for 80% simulation is 2437,27 m3.
