Abstract

Abstract The reserch aims to understand relationship between a permissive parenting style and kindergarten student’s convidance in pandeyan village, Ngemplak, Boyolali. The designs of this study are descriptive and quantitative. The population of this reserch involves 353 students and the samples are 75 students. By usinng purposive random sampling technique, both of the variable data are obtained through a questionnaire method which is given to the parents of student related with close ended questionnqire. The data analysis technique uses product momment correlation technique. The result of the correlationn analysis shows that r hitung=0,973and the level of signature of 0,000 (p<0,05) means that the correlation is positive and has the strong correlation. Based on the result, it can be determined that there is a positive relationship between parenting style (permissive) and children’s convidance. Keywords: Self Confidence, Permissive Parenting Style
