Abstract

This study aims to find out the application of stall placement contracts from the government of Surakarta in the management of Traditional Market, in addition to other objectives is to know the obstacles faced by the government of Surakarta in this case the Market Management Agency (DPP) and traders after the application contract of placement of Traditional stall Market in Surakarta . The research method uses empirical justical methods that are descriptive. Data source in this research consist of primary data that is interview and secondary data are primary, secondary and tertiary justical data. Methods of data collection through literature study and field study conducted by interview, then the data were analyzed qualitatively. The result of the research explains that the contract of placing of kiosk of Traditional Market in Surakarta is in accordance with Surakarta Local Regulation Number 1 Year 2010 concerning Management and Protection of Traditional Market and Surakarta Mayor Regulation Number 4 Year 2011 concerning Directive of Implementation of Local Regulation Number 1 Year 2010 About Management And Protection of Surakarta Traditional Market. Problems rise the head include late traders paying levies as well as facilities and infrastructure contained in market buildings are not fullfield, so in this case it is expected in the future that the parties can better fulfill their rights and obligations as stated in Article 9 paragraph (2), Article 42 and Article 43 of Surakarta Regulation No. 1 of 2010 on Management and Protection of Traditional Markets.
