Abstract

Procedure of being an arabic teacher, it is a must for the teachers to have the competent ability and fluency, and also they should have the ability to persuade the learning patterns of learners in acknowledging Arabic professionally, so that it can increase the achievement of students’ in learning Arabic itself. Problem statements conducted in this research are how are the procedures of professional Arabic’s teacher toward the success of teaching Arabic in the class and how are the teacher able to impact students’ achievement of Arabic at KMI Pondok Pesantren Ta’mirul Islam Surakarta. Afterward, this research aims to describe the procedure of teaching Arabic and to describe the achievement gotten by the students at KMI Pondok Pesantren Ta’mirul Islam Surakarta in receiving the lesson from the Arabic teacher. This study is classified as action research by using methods of collecting the data focused on interview, observation, documentation, analysing inductive data, and drawing the conclusion. Based on the results, it could be concluded that the procedure of teaching Arabic at KMI Ponpes Ta’mirul Islam Surakarta was a theoritical and practical. All of them embraced the lesson both theoritical and practical. The theory delivered by the teacher is mostly received in the class and the experiences of the theory are received outside the class, the peers also received the additonal agenda and practising activity that always develop by the committee and teacher. Furthermore, another conclusion is the achievement reached by the students was seen in daily conversation, they have conversation one to another using Arabic both in class and outside the class.
