Abstract
This final project is intended to examine the efficiency between the use of composite steel bridge that will be replaced with reinforced concrete bridge on the construction of the building on the Pengkol Bridge project, Karanggede, Boyolali District. This study will compare the two constructions in terms of cost, implementation method. Bridges with reinforced concrete method are generally used for spans with length L <30 m. The initial structure of this bridge uses a composite steel bridge method. The result of this research is: bridge cost with conventional reinforced concrete method is Rp 1,028,458,532.14, - bridge cost with composite steel method Rp 710.192.00,00, - with cost difference Rp 318.266.532,14, -. The difference in terms of the method of implementation with conventional reinforced concrete method and method is located in the bridge girder work process, where in the composite steel method there is the installation work of scaffolding, steel profile grafting, mounting girder, steel profile painting, shear connector installation and reference installation . While on the conventional reinforced concrete method there is the preparation work of gelagar elements and the installation of scaffolding.
