Abstract

This study aims to describe 1) The Characteristic of Social Care Characterization on The Jago Merah Film 2- Water and Fire (Content Analysis for Pancasila and Citizenship Learning), 2) the results of trial use of learning media Film Si Jago Merah 2- Water and Fire as depiction of social caring character at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Sukoharjo. The type of this research is qualitative descriptive research. Data The study was collected through films with Documentation, Library Studies and Observations. Technique of collecting data using Documentation method, Library Study and Observation. The data analysis uses content analysis through several stages to analyze the contents of the film by observing several scenes and dialogs. The validity of the data uses triangulation of data sources and data collection techniques. The results obtained are social care characters in the movie Jago Merah 2- Water and Fire as learning Pancasila and Citizenship Education and content analysis. The results of this study indicate that there are four indicators that indicate social care is to be involved in community activities, acting politely, willing to work together and help each other against others.
