Abstract

ABSTRACT The investigation shall be the action of the investigator in the event and according to the manner stipulated in the law to seek and collect evidence which with such evidence makes light of the criminal offense and to find the suspect, this is regulated in Article 1 (1) of the Criminal Procedure Code. One kind of criminal theft is violent theft, in which the offender is not always an adult sometimes the perpetrator is a child. So the investigator who conducts the investigation is a special investigator of the child as regulated in Article 1 number (8) of Law no. 11 of 2012 on the Criminal Justice System of Children The law also regulates the procedure of conducting an investigation if the perpetrator of a crime is a child. The formulation of this research problem discusses how the investigation of criminal acts of theft with violence with child abusers and the obstacles encountered by the investigator in conducting an investigation into the case. This type of research is a type of juridical legal research empirical and using a qualitative method approach. The location of this research is in Polres Boyolali.
