Abstract
This study to empirically test the effect of emotional experience writing training to improve psychological wellbeing in adolescents broken home. Subjek of research as many as 18 participants who are high school students in SMK Nurul Iman Bantul Yogyakarta. The subjeck were divided into two group, which is experimental and control group. Experimental and kontrol group where the experimental group was given treatment in the form of emotional experience writing training while the control group was not treated. The method used in this research is the experimental pretest- posttest control group design, the determinan of the subject of the control group and the experimental group was conducted by using the random assignment. The material presented in this training is writing emotionally rewarding experiences for teenagers. Psychological well-being data is measured using psychological well-being scale. Mann-Whitney Test Results experimental group and control group with Sig. 0,000 (p <0.01), which means there is a significant difference in psychological well-being in the experimental group that has been given emotional experience writing training compared to the untreated control group
