Abstract

Unemployment is one of the problems of the economy are complex and multidimensional. Therefore necessary to find solutions to solve the unemployment problem. This study aims to determine how the effect of economic growth or the GDP, total population, the city minimum wage and inflation to unemployment rite in Central Java province. This research is a quantitative research using panel data, the data used in the form of time series (2013-2015) and cross section. The data used in this research is secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and the journal as a supporter. The results of this study indicate that the Random Effect Model (REM) is the most appropriate model. Based on the F test economic gworth variables, population, city minimum wage and inflation in silmutan or together affect the unemployment rate. Based on the validity test of influence or T test, it can be seen that the variables that have significant influence on unemployment rate in Central Java Provinci 2013-2015 are economic growth and minimum wage of work, while the population and inflation variable do not have a significant influence on unemployment rate in Java Provinci Central.
