Abstract

Preeclampsia and eclampsia are hypertensive diseases occurring in pregnancy characterized by hypertension, edema, and proteinuria after week 20, and if accompanied by a seizure is called eclampsia. The number of causes of maternal deaths in Central Java province in 2014 was 42.33% caused by other causes, 26.44% caused by hypertension, 22, 93% caused by hemorrhage, 4.64% caused by impaired circulatory system, and 3, 66% are caused by infection. This study aims to determine the profile and handling of labor pre-eclampsia patients are interested in Annisa room RS PKU Muhammadiyah Surakarta. This research is a quantitative research with descriptive method of retropective. The population of this study were all pregnant women who had pre-eclampsia in RS PKU Muhammadiyah Surakarta during January 2015 until December 2016. Samples of the study were 237 patients of preeclampsia obtained by total sampling technique. The data were collected using medical record and data analysis using descriptive test. The conclusion of the study was that preeclampsia was mostly severe preeclampsia, the age of pregnant women was largely non-risky, pre-eclampsia occupations were largely unemployed, pre-eclampsia education was mostly secondary education, parity of most pre-eclampsia patients was small, the history of hypertension was largely devoid of a history of hypertension, the length of hospitalization was largely undergoing moderate hospitalization, the type of patient financing of pre-eclampsia is largely insurance other than BPJS such as Jamkesmas, Jamsostek, Askes and others, patients with pre-eclampsia are mostly spontaneous.
