Abstract

This research aims to (1) describes the suitability of bio-material on Social Science text book of class V Yudhistira issue with SK and KD in the standard contents of Curriculum unit level education, (2) describes the accuracy of the material in the books Social Science text book of class V Yudhistira and (3) describes the completeness of supporting learning material on Social science textbook Yudhistira. This research uses qualitative research design the research analysis of the contents. Data collection techniques used is a documentary study (documentary study). The data obtained were tested keabsahan degrees of belief (credibility) of the discovery of the appropriateness of the content of textbooks. The results showed that: (1) the suit ability of the IPS material description of class V tebitan Yudhistira reviewed from SK and KD have suitability of 71% by category worthy of use. (2) appropriateness of the content of the textbook IPS class V Yudhistira issue in terms of the accuracy of the material has a score of 79.45% category worthy of use. (3) textbook IPS class V Yudhistira publications reviewed in the supporting study material completeness indicators have a percentage of 75.8% categirized worthy of use. Textbook IPS that will be used has its disadvantages and advantages so teachers should know the quality books for teaching effectively.
