Abstract

This research was conducted in Kaliwlingi Village because it has potential tourism object that is Mangrove Pandansari Forest which aims to among others: (1) to know the internal and external potential of Mangrove Forest object (2) to know the capability of the supporting function of the protected area of Mangrove Forest Pandansari. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative survey method where the authors make field observations to determine the scores of some variables and the identification of land use and reinforced with the results of the questioner. Tourism potential analysis techniques use scoring for assessment of internal potential and external potential. Furthermore both potential values are summed to know the combined potential. While assessing the carrying capacity of protected functions with the identification of land use. The results show that the object has a high internal potential classification, medium external potential, and medium potential combined. While the carrying capacity of the protection function is good condition. Before the movement to plant mangrove trees around the coast many environmental environmental damage caused by sea water abrasion. With the existence of the protection debt in the form of mangrove forests, it appears that the potential as a tourist area and support the re-creation of good environmental conditions.
